Since 1867Our Berry patch continues to grow, getting about an acre of Blackberries in 2025. Our Rasbperries and Blackberries are located at Ransom Sage Farm and can be picked by you. Our Blueberries are spread out so we can save enough for us to sell in our Market.
2025 will be the first year for Blackberries and they will be limited to the fall harvest on only 4 rows. We planted 3 varieties that will produce in August of 2026 and only one varety that bares fruit in the fall.
We enjoy all our Raspberry varieties. They ripen consecutivly so ensure there are always berries to be picked from June - October. The best time to pick is more related to being the first picker in the mornings than the best variety or time of year. But there are some highly bountiful weeks when we pick as many as we can to freeze to be sold later.
Golden berries are fun and slightly different flavored. You need to try them. We also have a pink or peach colored variety that is more delicate and less seed.
